Cynthia Kemnitz

Cynthia “Cindy” J. Kemnitz , age 68 of Montello passed away Friday, October 15, 2021 at the Montello Care Center.  Cindy was born in Bristol to Lowell and Esther (Hansen) Benedict on May 22, 1953.  She graduated from Montello High School and married Gerald Kemnitz, together they had one daughter, Sasha and later divorced.  Cindy enjoyed animals, she had a special touch with them and loved all kinds from her chickens to her horses and lots of dogs and cats in between.  She worked a bus driver for many years.

Cindy is survived by her daughter, Sasha Ripley of Oxford and granddaughter, Ally Economy as well as brother, Greg (Cathy) Benedict of Montello.  She is also survived by her nieces: Ashley (Steve) Schroeder, Jessica (Steve) Smith and Caitlin (Paden) Drew and their children: Parker, Jordy, Kieren, Dawson, Lucas, and Avery.  Cindy is further survived by her aunt, Pam Benedict and as well as other extended family members.

Cindy is preceded in death by her parents and uncle, Norman (Merry) Benedict.
