Judy Schielka

Judith “Judy” Ann Schielka , age 64 of La Crosse (formerly of Montello) passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 11, 2021 at her home.  Judy was born in Chicago, IL to John and Eleanore (Lizak) Schielka on December 21, 1956.  She graduated from Mother Theodore Guerin High School in Chicago in 1974 and later moved to Montello.

Judy had a strong belief in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  She enjoyed spending time in her garden and always had a soft spot for animals, especially cats.  Judy loved her son, Luke and enjoyed the time they were able to spend together while living close to him in La Crosse the last several years.  She will be greatly missed.

Judy is survived by her son, Luke Schielka of La Crosse and two brothers: Joseph of Montello and Jeffrey of Ypsilanti, MI as well as other extended family members.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents and brother, John Jr.

A funeral service for Judith “Judy” Schielka will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Crawford Funeral Home in Montello.  Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM until the hour of service.  Pastor Ben Larson will officiate and burial will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Montello.  In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the American Diabetes Association, 2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900, Arlington, VA 22202.
