Norma Starrine

Norma Margaret Starrine , age 105 of Montello passed away peacefully with her granddaughter by her side Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Harris Villa Assisted Living in Westfield.  Norma was born in Jackson County, Wisconsin on October 20, 1915 to Arnt and Amelia (Granlund) Johnson.  Norma married Allison “Al” Starrine on July 1, 1962 at the Pentecost Church in Milwaukee and enjoyed many wonderful adventures together.  They felt fortunate to spend 28 winters in Texas before Al passed away in September of 2013.   Norma was a long time and active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Packwaukee.  She had a great sense of humor and a way of letting you know exactly how she felt.  Norma also liked to sew, garden and always mentioned some of her happiest times were dancing with Al.

Norma is survived by her daughter, Beverly Hanzel of Houston, TX, two step-children: Michael Starrine of King and Priscilla Starrine of Montello.  She is also survived by granddaughter, Sara Hanzel of Houston, TX and two step-grandchildren: Tyler and Daniel Starrine and two step-great-grandchildren: Jude and Jones Starrine as well as several other extended family members.

Norma is preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, three brothers and two sisters.

A funeral service for Norma Starrine will be held on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Packwaukee.  Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.    Pastor Larry Sheppard will preside and burial will take place on Friday at 10:00 AM at Valhalla Memorial Park in Milwaukee.
