Sharon Ann Barbian, age 78 of Dalton passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at her home surrounded by her three daughters. Sharon was born in Milwaukee on August 6, 1943 to Ernest and Anne (Drozkowski) Timmerman. She married Glenn Barbian at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Milwaukee on September 15, 1962 and from that union, they were blessed with three daughters. Glenn preceded Sharon in death in November of 2019.
Sharon and Glenn worked and raised their family in the Milwaukee Area, retiring in 2002 and moved to rural Dalton. Sharon was employed in the banking industry. She enjoyed gardening, billiards, watching the Packers and her pets. Sharon also filled her time watching wildlife and making loving memories with her family. Sharon will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, strength and never-ending commitment to her family.
Sharon is survived by her three daughters: Susan (Dennis) Fischbach of Montello, Julie (Brian Antoniewicz) Delgado of Milwaukee and Jean (Michael) Kircher of Franklin and three grandsons: Vicente, Dominic and Nicholas. She is also survived by her brother, John Timmerman, sisters-in-law: Marie Timmerman and Karen Timmerman as well as other extended family members.
Sharon is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Glenn and two brothers: Robert and James.
A memorial service for Sharon Barbian will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 11:30 AM at the Crawford Funeral Home in Montello. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. Father David Timmerman will preside and inurnment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations are preferred to the family for a memorial that will be established in Sharon’s name.
